Hello, all you wonderful, motivated Republicans:
WOW! What a year 2011 was! By the end of the year, CDRW was the 2nd largest Republican women’s club within the Washington Federation of Republican Women, our parent organization, with a total of 1,392 members. Our club was just eight members short of being #1. What does that really mean? Republican women are willing to be very active in this 2012 election and put Republicans in office from the grassroots level up to the national election of a Republican president. Our membership renewal drive is ongoing, and we are growing fast again. We have 79 active members and 22 associate members, and it’s only March. We had a record-breaking fundraiser in 2011, and with that success we can continue to contribute to Republican candidates this year.
2012 fundraisers are in the planning stage. Republican women are very community-minded, and we honor our military. We are sponsoring a fundraiser on July 14th to benefit the Fisher House Foundation which provides a “home away from home” for active duty and retired military and veteran families. Fisher houses are specially built near military hospitals.
Our annual fundraiser scheduled for September 15th will rebuild our “treasury” and enable us to continue with our plans to support Republican candidates and educate our members through participation in state federation conventions that offer great workshops. The extra bonus is getting together with other like-minded and active Republican women in our state.
